SGA Senate’s BUPD Committee organized an event with CHAARG, a women’s fitness group on campus, where BUPD officers taught students self-defense. The event included tips on how to prevent an attack and how to ward off an attacker.
Turning Point USA denied sponsorship from SGA
Turning Point USA reached out to SGA for sponsorship to be an official group on Butler’s campus and was turned down. TPUSA supports fiscal responsibility, limited government and free markets, but has received criticism for recent comments on minority groups.
