Phi Kappa Psi re-emerges on campus
National Fraternity Phi Kappa Psi is currently undergoing the process of re-establishing a chapter on Butler’s campus. The fraternity was founded as part of the Butler campus in 1971 but lost its standing with the university in 2014 due to behavior deemed unacceptable by campus officials.
Butler’s Health and Recreation Complex is open with new safety protocols in place
The HRC is open for users with new safety protocols including a reservation system, mandatory masks and socially distanced equipment.
Butler Professor receives $1.39 million grant for cancer research
The grant, from the National Institutes of Health, will support Dr. Masamha’s research of Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Butler to implement testing and contact tracing efforts throughout semester
The university will utilize a mix of symptomatic and asymptomatic testing to track cases on campus. The testing, among other factors, will inform future decisions related to staying on campus.
Butler students who are unable to return home after testing positive for COVID-19 isolate in Ross Hall
When a Butler student tests positive for COVID-19, they are asked to return to their primary residence. If they are unable to do so, they will be given a room in Ross Hall, a residence hall built in 1954.
