On Sept. 20, the Student Government Association, in conjunction with the Butler University Police Department, hosted a town hall meeting in Irvington House to address recent campus safety concerns.
According to the public safety message BUPD sent on Sept. 13, “University Police has investigated several persons of interest matching descriptions they received; however there has been no report or confirmation of a crime this far.”
Between 54 minors receiving minor consumption citations, to 24 reported cases of vandalism, 21 cases of theft and seven rape cases reported, the BUPD crime logs have been full of what’s happening on Butler’s campus.
