Mozel Sanders Foundation to provide free Thanksgiving dinner at Butler
The Mozel Sanders Foundation will partner with Butler University for the 17th consecutive year to serve over 20,000 hot meals on Thanksgiving. For over 40 years, the Mozel Sanders Foundation has been working to provide free meals to those in need. The non-profit organization is based in Indianapolis and it raises around $130,000 annually to fund the Thanksgiving meal, according to its website.
Atherton Union hosts Bon Appetit’s Kids in the Kitchen program on Nov. 20
Bon Appetit’s Kids in the Kitchen program means that Atherton will host children of faculty and staff as well as youth from the Boys and Girls clubs. This program is designed to excite and educate the next generation in order to build healthy eating habits.

The fraternity was last active on campus in 2017 and hopes to be fully reinstated for recruitment and induction next spring semester.

After Roncalli High School guidance counselor Shelly Fitzgerald was terminated for being married to another woman, Butler student Dominic Conover helped to found Shelly’s Voice Advocacy Group, a non-profit organization which advocates for LGBTQ+ acceptance in the Catholic community.
