Butler summer housing to be in the Apartment Village this year

Students have multiple options for living on or near campus over the summer. This year, on-campus housing will be in the Apartment Village, instead of ResCo, where students have lived during summers in the past.

Employees hope to unionize

Aramark employees continue to spread awareness of work-related concerns. On Nov. 14, a small rally took place at Butler University’s Star Fountain. Its purpose: to give Butler students and faculty the opportunity to show support for the school’s Aramark workers. The display made many around the Butler community aware of the workers’ attempt to unionize.

Feedback positive for parking garage

People in the Butler University and Butler-Tarkington communities who have seen the school’s parking garage plans are providing mostly positive feedback. A plan for a mixed-use parking garage was endorsed by Butler’s Board of Trustees at the end of September. Butler University is facing a time when the incoming classes continue to grow. The current expected freshman class size of 1,111 students shot up from last year’s class size of 926.
