UPDATE: Butler announced Plum Market’s opening date has been pushed back to Nov. 18. 

The newly-renovated Plum Market is set to open Nov. 15, Frank Ross, vice president of student affairs, said. For the past six months, C-Club has undergone significant restorations. 

At the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year, Plum Market was set to open on Nov. 1. However in October, Mandy Rentschler, the marketing manager for Bon Appetit at Butler, said Plum Market would be open by the end of November.

Plum Market will feature the same grab-and-go style food options as C-Club had. Specific options include a coffee stand and salad bar. Additionally, Plum Market will accept meal swipes, flex dollars and Dawg Bucks. 

The Plum Market renovations also include new lighting, floors and seating spaces. The former Dawg Den, located in a back room of C-Club, will be renovated into an esports and gaming lounge that will have 16 gaming PCs, gaming consoles and tabletop gaming.
