Butler’s risk management and insurance program opened the university’s first student-run insurance firm last month. Now, the firm is insuring Trip, fine art and other valuables at Butler, as well as speaking at conferences in Bermuda.
LAS Dean Jay Howard now also acting CCOM Dean
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean Jay Howard took the position of Acting Dean of the College of Communication while the college searches for a new dean. Dr. Gary Edgerton, former Dean of CCOM, stepped down from his former position to teach in his respective college full-time.
Butler Class of 2021 begins first year on campus
The Butler University Class of 2021 began their first full day as new Bulldogs with the start of classes on Aug. 23.
College of Education to move to CTS at start of 2018-2019 academic year

Commencement ticket restrictions cause problems for seniors
This spring commencement, each student is guaranteed six graduation tickets to distribute among family and friends. Some students, though, will have to request additional tickets through a waitlist.
