Students worry over whether or not their study abroad trips will be affected
COVID-19 has forced the postponement of many trips and events. Butler students planning on studying abroad in the summer of 2020 had their trips canceled and are now faced with the potential further postponement of their trips this summer.
Last week, the Center for Global Education informed students of the cancellation, which will affect around 65 people.
After all fall study abroad programs were canceled, Butler students planning to go abroad in the spring are encouraged to stay positive as the faculty and staff work together to make a decision.
Butler’s Center for Global Education made decision to cancel study abroad programs based on CDC and U.S. State Department travel advisories, countries’ limited border access.
