The new Lacy School of Business building is now open to students. Those with a Butler ID can access the building through the door facing Fairview House, where the sidewalk has solar panel tables.

The 110,000-square-foot building cost about $50 million. It features collaborative classrooms and workspaces along with lounge areas, food service, a rooftop deck, an RBE project showroom and offices.

After furnishing is complete, faculty members will be allowed to move into their offices and prepare for classes in the new building this fall. Holcomb Building, which used to house the Lacy School of Business, will be closed in the fall for the sciences expansion and renovation project.
