Women’s soccer loses big to Georgetown

The Butler women’s soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss against No. 6 Georgetown University on Oct. 9 in Washington, D.C.

The Bulldogs allowed all five goals in the first half. Sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Luedtke had one save in the first half.

Junior goalkeeper Madison Card took Luedtke’s place in the second half and kept the Hoyas scoreless. Card registered two saves during her time in goal.

Junior midfielder Brenna Pawelkowski led the Bulldogs in shots with two. The only other shot of the night came from sophomore forward Paige Monaghan.

The Bulldogs will return home and take on Seton Hill on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
