The Butler University men’s tennis team swept Cleveland State, 7-0, in their match Thursday night at the Butler Bubble.

During singles play, both sophomore Aviv Ben Shabat and senior Mikheil Khmiadashvili lost their first set, rallied in the second and came back to clinch victories during the third.

Sophomore Mason Dragos did the same in No. 3 singles as Ben Shabat and Khmiadashvili in nail-biter fashion. The match score finished 6-7, 7-6, 11-9.

Sophomores Spencer Lang, Ari Gerstein and Adrian Mag picked up two set victories in the No. 4, 5 and 6 spots, respectively.

The duos of Khmiadashvili and Dragos and Ben Shabat and Gerstein also picked up victories for the Bulldogs.

Butler will take on Depauw University Friday night in Greencastle at 4:30 p.m.
