Butler basketball Big East schedule released

The Butler men’s basketball team’s conference schedule was released by the Big East on Sept. 5. Butler opens conference play at St. John’s on Dec. 31 before hosting Creighton for its Big East home opener on Jan. 4.

The Bulldogs begin the month of February with four home games in a five-game stretch from Feb. 1 to Feb. 15. Defending Big East champion Villanova visits Hinkle Fieldhouse on Feb. 5 and rival Xavier comes a week later on Feb. 12.

Senior night will be on March 4 when the Bulldogs host St. John’s in their final home game. They end the regular season with a trip to Xavier on March 7.
