The Bulldogs started their season with a 2-0 win over Canisius Friday night in the opening game of the Ohio State Buckeye tournament.
Head coach Paul Snape was pleased the team got a shutout in their season opener.
“I thought we did a good job today,” Snape said. “I thought we dealt with them really well.”
Vincent Mitchell scored the first goal of the game on an assist from Mitch Ostrowski.
Jeff Adkins added a goal in the second half.
Snape said the team still has room for improvement.
“We’ve got to get sharper with our decision making going forward,” Snape said.
