Bulldogs falls at Nebraska

The Butler women’s soccer team was unable to put any pressure on the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers as they fell 1-0 for the second straight game.

Nebraska’s Caroline Flynn scored the lone goal of the match with seven minutes to play.

Nebraska had Butler’s defense on their toes the whole game. By halftime the Cornhuskers had seven total shots, five of those being on goal. The Bulldogs could not manage a single shot in the first half.

Nebraska defense was also too much for the Bulldogs, who with 11 minutes left in the game, only had gotten two shots on goal.

Butler will try to stop their two game skid on Monday against the University of Iowa.
