Butler women’s swimming competes in IUPUI meet

The Butler women’s swim team competed at the IUPUI Natatorium in an event hosted by IUPUI on Oct. 20.

Megan Hanson, Emma Spotts, Emily Klemptner, and Tori Horton made up the team finishing in the 200m medley relay.

Horton finished second in the 100m backstroke with a time of 1:00.53. Emma Harris finished third in the 1000m freestyle with a final time of 11:02.37.

In the 100m breaststroke, Spotts finished just two tenths of a second out of first place finishing the race at 1:05.46.

Butler will return to the pool Oct. 27 when they travel to Bourbonnais, Illinois to compete in a meet at Olivet Nazarene.
