Away in Philadelphia, Butler was unable to pull off four straight wins over Villanova and fell to the No. 1 team 86-75. Still, Kelan Martin went off and had a great game, scoring 30 points and getting halftime praise from Villanova coach Jay Wright. As expected, Butler fans found something to love about the game.
